Describe your career journey:
I am a Talent Acquisition Strategist with over 19 years experience in sourcing and building great talent. My career in energy started as an application development specialist following graduation from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems. My career path has led me from IT to HR where I have held roles focusing on recruiting at the university, mid-career, and executive levels, relationship management, HR Generalist activities, and diversity initiatives across the globe. My most recent initiatives have focused on progressing women in the workplace and assisting veterans transition from military to civil life.
Why do you do what you do?
I love connecting the right people with the right opportunity! Too many people spend their career in a job they do not love, and I want to change that. Helping someone enter the next chapter of their career is always rewarding!
What are your interest/passions outside of recruiting?
I am an amateur photographer and enjoy capturing and preserving memories and landscapes! I also enjoy reading, travel, the great outdoors and spending time with my family.
