Senior Family Advisor Greater Seattle Area

Our client, a growing Multi-Family Office based in the Seattle Metro, is seeking to add two key Advisory professionals — both roles created to support the firm’s continued growth and new client relationships.

The Senior Family Advisor will serve as a trusted partner to HNW families and entrepreneurs experiencing significant wealth events. This senior-level role is ideal for an advisor who combines deep technical expertise with a consultative approach, and who is eager to provide leadership within a collaborative, client-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary advisor for complex UHNW client relationships, overseeing all aspects of planning and wealth strategy.
  • Lead conversations on succession, legacy, philanthropy, risk management, and investment planning.
  • Develop sophisticated planning proposals, financial models, and customized family presentations.
  • Partner with internal planning teams and coordinate seamlessly with external professionals in tax, legal, and insurance.
  • Facilitate family meetings, governance discussions, and multi-generational planning initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach junior advisors, contributing to the firm’s advisory depth and leadership pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials highly valued.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience advising UHNW families in an RIA, family office, or private bank setting.
  • Active Series 65 (or equivalent) required.
  • Advanced designations such as CFP®, CFA®, or CIMA® strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in advanced planning techniques, including donor-advised funds, foundations, complex estate structures, and risk management solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage comfortably with clients and their professional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $185,000 – $250,000, plus incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance — premiums fully covered by the firm.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Generous PTO and holiday schedule.
  • Professional development support, including executive coaching and firm-sponsored education programs.
  • A collegial culture with firm-wide gatherings, wellness perks, and annual retreats.
