Superintendent – Multi-family – Tampa, FL

We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent for Development & Construction for Multi-family and mixed used projects in the greater Tampa, FL market. As a Superintendent for Multi-family, you will…

  • Supervise, manage and coordinate all phases of the field worked performed by subcontractors and vendors in constructing the ground-up construction process of high density, multi-family residential and mixed use projects.
  • Manage, monitor and inspect the work of trades, carpenters and laborers.
  • Prepare punch lists and ensure completion of work prior to inspection.
  • Create, maintain and update project schedules to ensure projects stays within budget and on time.
  • Facilitate weekly and subcontractor meetings.
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractor compliance with project safety policies and programs.
  • Monitor site condition for a safe work environment.
  • Schedule third party inspection of work in progress and ensure responses to exceptions and punch list items noted by consultants and inspectors.
  • Ensure compliance with Company National Standards, health and safety rules and regulations, and local, state and federal laws.


Requirements of the Superintendent for Multi-family include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the multi-family construction industry.
  • Prior knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, and safety practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, decision making, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite to include, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with Procore and Textura preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license.
