Sr. Construction Project Manager – Multi-family – Tampa, FL

The TEAM of ISC CONSTRUCTION RECRUITERS is working with a growing Real Estate Development & Construction Company in the greater Tampa, FL area. We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Construction Project Manager for Development & Construction for Multi-family and mixed used projects in the greater Tampa, FL market. Responsibilities of the Sr. Construction Project Manager – Multi-family include:

  • Managing all aspects of the ground-up construction process of high density, multi-family residential and mixed use projects.
  • Working with preconstruction and estimating department to develop and update project construction budgets, scheduled and plans.
  • Ensuring the projects stays within budget and on time.
  • Overseeing multiple projects in various stages of construction and pre-construction from start to completion.
  • Securing all permits and approvals to construct the projects.
  • Managing and document project design and construction progress for duration of the project.
  • Facilitating project team meetings.
  • Overseeing the bidding process and contracting of sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Verifying the completion of all project punch and warranty work.
  • Ensuring compliance and processing project construction permits.

Requirements of the Sr. Construction Project Manager – Multi-family include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
  • Must have 10+ years of experience in managing all phases of construction of high density multi-family and mixed use projects.
  • Strong project management and financial analysis experience.
  • Prior knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, and safety practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, decision making, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite to include, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with Procore and Textura preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40%.
