Product Support Specialist – Desktop Management- Toronto, Canada

ISC’s team of SOFTWARE RECRUITERS has been engaged to identify a Product Support Specialist – Desktop Management to work virtually in the Toronto, Canada area.

We are seeking someone to support customers via email and over the phone for a Windows Desktop Management product. The product uses (mostly) Group Policy to deliver settings, so Active Directory and GPO experience is a must, MDM experience is helpful.

Must have solid internet access, phone access, and home office. You will receive all the training necessary!
Rockstar troubleshooting skills are a must!

Responsibilities for the Product Support Specialist – Toronto

  • Perform “Quickstart” installations or live demos for prospects via phone or GotoMeeting
  • Prospects are scheduled by the sales team and you will be given instructions to prepare for your call
  • Ensure the product is working before the call is finished
  • Perform email based tech support for customers
  • Read product’s log files and discover what it is and what it isn’t doing
  • Create “how-to” videos to send to customers
  • Remote control of customer’s machines, troubleshoot the product, and resolve the issue
  • Perform testing of the product and report bugs as necessary


Requirements for Product Support Specialist – Toronto

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Must have exceptional phone, email, and web customer service skills
  • Excellent land line phone or VOIP phone, no cell phones
  • Must be able to respond fast when there is a concern – must be passionate about solving problems
  • Windows Desktop troubleshooting skills must be a 10!
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy is required, MDM is a plus
  • Experience with App-V, Citrix, VMware Workstation is a big plus!


$90-130k based upon experience
