Our Client is a prominent and growing Bank with locations throughout Florida. They have a newly created Private Banker role and looking for a sharp Banker with a strong COI in the local market to be a key member of the Florida Private Banking team.

Phenomenal opportunity to be instrumental in building out the region for the Bank as the quarterback on the Private Banking relationship, partnering with the Financial Advisor, Trust/Fiduciary professional and Commercial Bankers. Also, tremendous opportunities to gain referrals from the Commercial Banking team.

Private Banker, Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages client relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families within the local market.
  • Responsible for bringing in new business within the market and continually meeting with potential clients.
  • Provides clients with advice on how to manage their money via investment and insurance products based on their long-term goals and investment tolerance.
  • Serves as a client’s personal advocate and is responsible for managing full-service banking relationships while delivering a superior service experience to a portfolio of affluent clientele.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client to generate deposit and loan growth through the recommendation and referral of products across business lines.
  • Provide integrated financial services advice to these clients including: banking, credit, asset management, trust and estate planning, and brokerage.
  • Partner with other members of the Wealth Management team, pulling in specialists as needed – from Financial Advisors, Wealth Planners, Fiduciary and Trust professionals, Residential Mortgage Consultants to Commercial Bankers.
  •  Responsible for managing overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk.

Private Banker, Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and Strong Financial Services experience with a solid base in Private Banking and/or Wealth Management.
  • Experience selling investment products and services and recommending financial plans and investment tools to clients.
  • 2 -10 years of experience in one or more of the following: banking/credit, asset management, personal trust, and brokerage services.
  • Ideally, this individual will have at least 1 to 2 years of relationship management and sales experience within the HNW/UHNW client space.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63, and 65 or 66 securities licenses and Variable annuity licenses are required.
