How long have you been in the industry?
Carolyn McClendon is a Talent Acquisition Leader with global human resources experience in diverse industries. She joined the ISC team in April 2009. She has been in the executive recruiting search industry for over nine years. Prior to entering executive search, Carolyn’s career included over thirty-five years of experience in senior human resources positions as Director of Talent Acquisition, Sr. Manager of Training & Organization Development and Manager of Human Resources.
She has extensive knowledge and experience in recruiting talent for Healthcare, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Real Estate Acquisition, Land Development & Construction and Specialty Chemicals executive and management positions. She has been very effective in becoming a strategic business partner with her clients. She is able to aggressively target direct competitors, cold calling in, and enticing the top 20% to invest in an interview with her clients. She only presents candidates that meet the mandatory requirements for the position and is a good cultural fit. She has a 3 to 1 hiring ratio.
Carolyn also works closely with candidates to identify career opportunities that are commensurate with their qualifications and career interests.
She earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
