How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the recruiting industry for 20 years. Working in multiple industries filling searches from C-Suite to mid-management in private equity backed portfolio and public companies.
What is your background?
Graduated with an Associate’s in Business of Administration and Child Development. In my early career, I worked in Office Administration and as a Day Care Director before going into recruiting.
What is your specialty?
Professional recruiting and business development from mid-management to C-Suite.
What are your favorite aspects of what you do and why?
In this field, I love building professional relationships and having the ability to coach and guide people through the process. Being able to connect with clients, presenting candidates and finding the right fit for the hire is so rewarding!
What are your interest/passions outside of recruiting?
Spending time with my husband hiking, biking, exploring the outdoors and small music concerts. Enjoying family trips with our 7 children and their families, currently including 8 grandchildren and growing. In 2019, I started making my own wine. I have a passion for exploring new foods and a true love for cooking, party planning and large family events.
3 Fun/Funny Facts about yourself:
1. I met my husband on a blind date-a few months later, he won my heart over with a 24x36 framed picture of Rod Stewart.
2. I still held the long jump record at my high school for 15+ years after graduating.
3. Multiple times, I have inadvertently ordered miniature things off the internet thinking they are the actual size.
4 “Favorite” Things:
1. Spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.
2. Love listening to all types of music, especially Rod Stewart
3. Relaxing with a charcuterie board and glass of wine.
4. Occasionally I love to binge watch movies and doc series
