ISC’s team of Financial Services Recruiters is partnering with a prominent Wealth Manager (RIA) with offices throughout the U.S. The firm specializes in providing customized investment management and investment advisory services to their clients – Ultra-High Net Worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations, and endowments.
The firm is looking for a Fund Controller to lead their Fund Finance team in the Wilmington office. This role will be highly visible within the Firm with opportunities to collaborate with other departments and in interface with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree Required, CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with experience in financial services – wealth management a plus.
• Previous public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience with GAAP.
• 2 years management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders are essential to this role.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct and supervise the efforts of a team to understand client requirements and deliver quality services on time in an efficient manner
• Develop and maintain annual calendar for all fund accounting deliverables.
• Overall management of the financial reporting process for funds, including coordination of annual audits.
• Review quarterly and annual reports and ensure compliance with GAAP as it relates to partnership accounting.
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Review and oversight of tax estimates, tax compliance, returns, and K1s.
• Lead projects to improve internal process efficiencies leveraging technology and optimizing team strengths.
