They are seeking a highly versatile and independent individual with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within and outside the organization.

Data Operations Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework or work experience in accounting and/or operations.
  • Skill in accounting software, preferably Quicken/QuickBooks.
  • Experience with Microsoft especially Excel and Word.
  • Highly organized and meticulous with data management.
  • Ability to work independently, approach problems logically, and apply available options to create effective communications.
  • Ability to work in a small team environment with an exceptional client service culture.
  • Versatile, with the ability to take on various types of tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Addepar is helpful, but not required.

    Data Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full management/coordination of their file management system, retrieving, scanning, and saving all documents.
  • Fully responsible for managing investment related documents in the Canoe software platform including mapping data, naming files, and ensuring timely receipt of documents.
  • Exporting transactions and valuations from Canoe to their reporting system along with reviewing performance.
  • Management of firm email inboxes.
  • Account maintenance.
  • Assist in-house CPA with various tax related documents and processes.
  • Shared office and compliance tasks including but not limited to managing various Excel schedules (i.e. cost basis information and undistributed stocks), retrieving data for analysis, and wire transfer compliance testing.
  • Assisting with account reconciliations by ensuring proper coding of transactions.
  • Preparation of various administration forms.
  • Special projects on an as needed basis.
